Warranty:

Novalert offers one year warranty from the day of shipping and a 30 day return policy providing the product was not tampered with, opened, mishandled or used other than specified in the documentation.

Novalert products are shipped after passing rigorous quality testing. Each unit is free of defects, and works according to the specifications. Any return must be accompanied by the Return Authorization Number (RAN). The RAN can be obtained by sending an email to sales@novalert.com and explaining the reason for the return. If the unit fails to perform, is damaged or performs other than the way specified in the documentation, a replacement unit can be sent or a full refund of the price, excluding shipping.

Disclaimer and recommendations:

a. In this disclaimer, the NOVALERT™ Garage Door Closer is referred to as the Product.

b. The garage door to which the Product is connected must have all the safety systems operational and in good condition, including the optical barrier, pressure sensing system and all other mandatory safety requirements. All these safety features must be checked and proven functional before installing the Product.

b. Novalert LLC is not responsible for any accidents due to the automatic activation of the garage door by the Product.

c. It is highly recommended that the garage door can also be opened from a keypad located outside the garage.

d. Novalert LLC is not responsible for property loss caused by the Product’s failure to automatically close the garage door in any circumstance including  failure to observe the low battery signal and failure to replace the depleted battery with a fully charged one.
